Bull riding, mutton bustin' and country music take over Old Town Ranch on Saturday, Oct. 10, when Charity for Charity hosts its fifth annual Way Out West Fest.
The Western-themed fundraiser at 43453 Avenida Felicita Road runs all day, with gates opening at noon. Arena activities go from noon to 6 p.m. and live music from 5:30 to 10 p.m., according to the nonprofit's event page.
Country artist Michael Ray headlines the concert stage, as Patch reported. Ray has four No. 1 songs, including "Think a Little Less" and "Whiskey And Rain," and has logged more than 2 billion global streams. Presley Tennant and Joe Peters round out the 2026 lineup.
The arena card includes junior bull riding overseen by AK Bucking Bulls, ranch sorting, mutton bustin' and a mechanical bull. Kids can also hit a petting zoo, carnival games, roping dummies and face painting. Arena competitions are independently operated and may require separate registration, fees or waivers, the organization said.
A vendor marketplace will sell jewelry, custom hats, clothing and candles. Food trucks, kettle corn, cotton candy and snow cones keep the crowd fed.
Proceeds go to Charity for Charity, a Temecula nonprofit founded by Charity Prestifilippo. The organization grants wishes to children and adults facing life-threatening illness or traumatic injury, selecting three beneficiaries each year and surprising them at its annual Stars of the Valley gala, according to the group's website.
General admission is $35 for adults and $15 for children 13 and under. Kids under 2 get in free. A family package covering two adults and two children costs $90. Reserved rodeo seating runs $50 for adults and $30 for children. VIP Patriot Pit access is $75, and reserved VIP chair or table seating is $100.
Tickets are available at charityforcharity.org/way-out-west-fest/.
