Daniel John Mullins, a 63-year-old Temecula resident, has been missing since Thursday, Sept. 24, and the Riverside County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help locating him.

Mullins was last seen in the 40000 block of Nob Court in Temecula, a department spokesperson told Patch on Tuesday, Sept. 29. Authorities believe he left on a mountain bike. The search spans Southwest Riverside County.

Mullins is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and approximately 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The department said his clothing at the time is unknown.

No photo of Mullins has been publicly released. No update on the case had been reported as of Thursday, Oct. 1.
