Temecula business owners can learn how to land city contracts at a free workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Temecula Valley Entrepreneurs Exchange.

The session, titled "Doing Business with the City of Temecula," runs from 10 a.m. to noon at TVE2, the city's business incubator at 43200 Business Park Drive. The city announced the event Thursday, Sept. 10, according to Patch.

Attendees will learn about the city's procurement process, where to find open bids and how to register as a vendor, the city said.

Staff from the Small Business Development Center for Contracting will present tips on networking and building connections with government buyers. The center, part of the Orange County/Inland Empire SBDC Network, offers no-cost consulting to businesses in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Its consultants served more than 15,000 clients in 2025 and helped regional small businesses increase sales by more than $47 million, the network reported.

The workshop is free. Registration details and capacity limits had not been published as of Friday, Sept. 11. Business owners with questions can call TVE2 at 951-506-5180.
