Pechanga Resort Casino employees raised more than $4,000 for the Alzheimer's Association through the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer's in Temecula Valley.

The resort announced the fundraising total on X on Saturday, Sept. 26, as part of its Pechanga Cares community-giving program.

The figure is Pechanga's self-reported total. The Alzheimer's Association's online team leaderboard showed a lower amount for Team Pechanga's page, suggesting the resort's total may reflect fundraising across multiple channels.

More than 10 Pechanga team members walked in the Sept. 19 event at Promenade Temecula, 40820 Winchester Road, according to the team's Alzheimer's Association fundraising page. The resort posted photos on X showing participants gathered at the walk site.

Team Pechanga's contribution fed into a broader campaign. The Temecula Valley walk had raised $56,035 overall as of Sept. 27, reaching 70 percent of its goal, according to the Alzheimer's Association event page. The association describes the Walk to End Alzheimer's as the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's, and over 11 million family members and friends provide unpaid care, according to figures cited on Team Pechanga's walk page.

Pechanga Resort Casino, owned by the Pechanga Band of Indians, has deep roots in Temecula Valley philanthropy. The resort distributes roughly $1 million each year to regional charitable causes and has donated millions over the past 15 years, according to its community giving page. On its walk team page, the resort described supporting charitable organizations as "an honor," not an obligation.

The Temecula Valley walk campaign remains open, with 30 percent of its fundraising goal still to reach.
